Things to Do
San Diego Zoo
The San Diego Zoo, nestled in Balboa Park, is a world-renowned wildlife sanctuary famous for its lush, naturalistic habitats and dedication to conservation, housing over 12,000 animals from 680+ species.
Sea World
SeaWorld San Diego is a fun option for anyone who loves marine life. The park combines animal exhibits, shows, and rides, with highlights like dolphin and orca presentations, the penguin habitat, and scenic views of Mission Bay.
Breweries
San Diego has a huge craft beer scene, and it’s worth checking out if you have some free time. You’ll find everything from chill tasting rooms to bigger breweries with food, games, and outdoor space. Areas like North Park, Miramar, and Downtown make it easy to hop around and try a few spots.
USS Midway
Docked along the San Diego waterfront, the USS Midway Museum is a unique way to explore the city’s history and enjoy great views of the bay. The massive aircraft carrier is now a floating museum where you can walk the flight deck, check out historic aircraft, and peek into life aboard the ship.
Why San Diego?
San Diego holds a special place in our hearts and has been the focal point of many of our adventures throughout our relationship.
One of our first trips there was to visit the Safari Park which kicked off many more returns for Halloween zombie crawls, laid back breweries, concerts, and of course the amazing food.
We can't wait to celebrate such a momentous occasion in a place very dear to us, with you!
